Our Speakers
William
"Bill" Wilson
Bill is a retired college educator whose
interests currently lie in early Bond County history and the history
of the Grotts family in America. He is the primary author of the
titles currently listed, "The Tales of Hill's Fort" and " Forts and
Blockhouses of Early Illinois".
For the past five years Bill has been employed as a bus driver for
Zee Express of Albers, Illinois.
Kevin Kaegy
Kevin is a noted local speaker versed in Abraham
Lincoln and his family. The Civil War Illinois 130th regiment is a
favorite of Kevin's, along with the many Bond County History
stories. His knowledge of Early Illinois Forts and Blockhouses is
also very impressive. Kevin has been a design and sales specialist
at Markus Cabinets in Aviston, IL. for 16 years.
